Marcus DiLallo, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in both non-operative and surgical treatment of hip and knee arthritis. He is dedicated to helping patients return to an active, pain-free lifestyle through personalized care and evidence-based treatment options.
Dr. DiLallo attended Yale University, where he played collegiate soccer and was recognized as Academic All-Ivy. After graduation, he conducted orthopedic research at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City before earning his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by an additional year of fellowship training at Duke University, where he specialized in Adult Reconstruction (hip and knee replacement). During his fellowship, Dr. DiLallo gained extensive experience in treating hip and knee arthritis, including minimally invasive and muscle-sparing techniques, complex joint reconstructions, and revision surgery. He also trained in the use of advanced technologies such as robotics and augmented reality to enhance surgical precision.
Dr. DiLallo is board-eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of both the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He lives in Raleigh with his wife, their children, and their golden retriever. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and distance running. An avid runner, he has completed 12 marathons—and even won one.

Dr. DiLallo is currently board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). His clinical interests are focused on the management of hip and knee arthritis.
Dr. DiLallo currently resides in Raleigh with his wife, their children, and their golden retriever. Outside of work, he enjoys chasing after his kids as well as distance running. He has competed in 12 marathons and has even won one!
