Most recently he has become a recognized leader and expert on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a virulent infection of concern to all surgeons and potential surgical patients.

Dr. Rion is a Carolina native and board-certified surgeon specializing in total and partial joint arthroplasty of the shoulder, hip and knee. He offers hip replacement via the anterior surgical approach and employs advanced techniques and the most state-of-the-art equipment to aid in total joint arthroplasty.
