Scott grew up in Connecticut and moved to North Carolina with his wife and two children in order to be closer to family. He attended Springfield College in Massachusetts  where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a Masters of Science. While working as a PTA in Connecticut, Scott worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics primarily focused on patients with various orthopedic conditions. He also has experience with patients dealing with a variety of neurological conditions.

During his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and watching his children in various activities.
