Physical Therapist
Monica grew up in Clayton, North Carolina, and attended East Carolina University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. While in college, she worked at Vidant Medical Center as a therapy technician in pediatric inpatient rehab. In 2018, she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Studies with a Pre-Health concentration and minors in both Biology and Science.

She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2021 and has been working in outpatient rehab since. Her favorite part about being a physical therapist is cheering on her patients while they work towards and reach their personal goals. She obtained her Dry Needling Level 1 Certificate in early 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and going on adventures with her dogs and husband. Monica lives in Raleigh with her husband and two dogs, Ellie and Cooper.
