After graduation, Walker attended the University of Lynchburg, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. While in PT school, he served as his cohort’s class president for three years and was actively involved in several student organizations, including the Prosthetics and Orthotics Exercise Group, which provided exercise opportunities for patients in the local community.
Walker completed clinical rotations in skilled nursing, sports, and orthopedic settings. During his final clinical rotation at OrthoNC’s Knightdale clinic, he connected with the company’s mission and values, which led him to join the Forest Pines team. He is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love and empowering them to achieve more than they thought possible.
Walker lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with his fiancée, Liv, and their mini Bernedoodle, Blue. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball and golf, boating at Lake Gaston, and just about any kind of friendly competition. A dedicated sports fan, he enjoys cheering on the Panthers, Hurricanes, Hokies, and Tar Heels.
