Maggie was born in New Jersey and moved to Cary, NC with her parents and little brother in high school. She completed her undergraduate at Wofford University, where she earned her associates degree in Biology. While at Wofford, Maggie was a member of the Division I Women’s Soccer team playing center midfield and forward. She then attended Campbell University where she earned her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Due to having her own orthopedic injury in college, Maggie developed a large interest in orthopedics and helping others that had similar injuries to her own. She worked in orthopedics before PA school and her interest in orthopedics was solidified in her clinical year of PA school.
Maggie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. She is currently a Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and holds BLS and ACLS certifications.
Maggie will be working in Urgent Care and with Dr. Galland’s clinical team. She enjoys working in both the clinical and surgical setting.
In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, boyfriend, and dog Cooper. She enjoys the outdoors, running, traveling, reading, and cooking.
