Pamela Brisson is a native of North Carolina and attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2001. After furthering her education, she graduated in 2004 from East Carolina University with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Her passions for continued knowledge of the spine lead her to begin her studies with The McKenzie Institute, USA. In 2008, she received the credentials of Mechanical Diagnostic Therapist (Cert. MDT). She has also completed advanced training with the Spinal Manipulation Institute in order to obtain a certification in dry needling (Cert. DN).
Brisson has a variety of clinical experiences including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient rehabilitation. She has spent the majority of her career in outpatient rehabilitation, treating patients of all ages with varying orthopedic conditions. She had taken several advanced continuing education classes including Maitland, Paris, and Mulligan evaluation and treatment techniques. She mostly enjoys getting to know her patients and provide individualized care.
Pamela lives in the area with her husband and children, and in her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling, mountain biking, and spending time with her family.
