Krysta Holterman, PA-C is originally from New Jersey. She spent four years in North Carolina attending Elon University, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Sport Science. She earned her Master of Medical Science Degree through the Physician Assistant program at Arcadia University. After completing her training, she was delighted to have the opportunity to move back to North Carolina.
Krysta has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed to practice by the North Carolina Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. She also holds certifications in Basic Life Support and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician in the state of New Jersey. Prior to working for OSNC, Krysta volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician and spent some time helping out in a local health clinic back in New Jersey.
Krysta joined our team in August 2013. She currently works with Dr. Wheeless and his team in the Wakefield, Louisburg, and Henderson locations. She enjoys both the clinic and surgical setting.
